  Ordering by telephone is probably the quickest way to secure or enquire about a book, especially if it is secondhand and likely to be the only one in stock. All books are subject to availability.
  
• POSTAGE IS EXTRA:
  UK Postage at cost (but with minimum charge of £2.00) as follows:-
  Depending on weight from £2.00 to £3.67 up to 1kg.
  Above 1kg (because we have obtained a special delivery rate), it is much cheaper.
  a) Any weight between 1kg and 30kg £7.50 (48 hour delivery).
  or b) Any weight between 1kg and 30kg £9.80 (24 hour delivery).
  First Class postage is extra!
  Overseas Postage at cost depending on weight, destination and speed of delivery. Please state whether surface or airmail, except for Europe which is airmail only: a quote for postage will be sent if required.

   

• PAYMENT either:
  Credit cards. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Eurocard and Switch (Maestro). Please state which type, together with name and address as registered with the credit card company; card number, expiry date, plus 3-digit security number when ordering. With Debit cards. We also need start date/or issue number.
  Cheques or Postal Orders please make payable to Jarvis Books on receipt of invoice: established customers on receipt of invoice with books. Sorry we can only accept payment in Sterling.
  
• CONDITION OF SECONDHAND BOOKS:
  G or Good - showing some signs of use and wear.
  VG or Very Good - about average condition.
  F or Fine - almost like new.
  With + or - to indicate upper or lower of grade.
  No Dust Wrapper (d/w) unless otherwise stated: Defective dust wrappers are usually protected in a loose plastic sleeve.
  Inscription means name or other inscription, such as an address, usually written on front endpaper.
  BOOK SIZES when mentioned, the approximate height is in centimetres (cm.)
  
• BOOKS CAN BE RETURNED within 7 days if you are not happy with them.
